I think next Fall, we will come a bit earlier to enjoy the leaves.
There is still time to go fishing. Pick your days. They've got the 'feed bag' on now.

Sugarbush is my "home away from home". We've been coming here for nine years, usually once in Spring and Fall. This time we rented Green as well, mostly members of the OFS. It truly is a pot of gold. We lucked into reasonable weather for November: +7 on one day but near freezing on the other two. This is an average size fish for the lakes. At this time of year, you only need to get the fly, almost any fly, in front of them. I ended up using my 3wt rod with a floating line and a sink tip add-on. I always use two flies. The dropper is the attractor or a fly that has already caught some fish and the point fly is the experimental one.

Don't know if they will let you day fish at Sugarbush or Green as they have cabins attached but they are the best Rainbow Lakes. Collins is the best brookie lake and they do let the guides in there without cabin renters.
